The new post office is slowly Hearing completion and will be ready for occupation at the end of tha month. Mr R. Scoullar is making a good job of the road from Csrberry hill farm to the new roadway at thn old post office, which will be on a good level grade. 1 Mr F. McDonald, ot Waipipi, has communicated with ua In regard to a mistake which nppeared in our Woiuku notes soma weeks ago. It was then stated that Mr R. 1. Reid "had just landed his three champion trotters Eccentric, Wereoa and Prince Rufus." Mr McDonald informs us that he owns Prince Rufus and Wereoa, and that he and Mr Reid have u nail-share each in Eccentric.
