ADVANCE WAIUKU.
"We nothing extenuate, nor set down auaht in malice."
We have very much phasure In directing attention to the advertisement appearing in another column announcing the boundaries that have been determine:! upon for the new town district of Waiuku. The purpose ot publishing this notice is to afford an opportunity for objections, which objections are to be lodged on or before April 3rd. In view of the general agreement that a Town District is necessary If Waiuku is to make real civic progress we do not anticipate that any steps will be taken to block the progress of the township. With its railway in view, its canal and lock under practical consideration, and the establishment of the Town Bsard we venture to predict that in a few years Waiuku will be one of tne brightest, most picturesque and most prosperous of the settlements within tbe precincts of the Franklin County. We heartily congratulate the township upon the advance it is makirg.
