BUCKLAND.
METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL. The Rev. E. P. Blamires, of Pukekohe, conducted the very bright services held nn Sunday last in connection with tha anniversary of the Methodist Sunday School. The services were held in the public hall The splendid singing was a delightful feature, the hymna and anthems rendered by the children and the church choir being mo-t appealing. Mrs E. Allan presided at the organ and Mr George Hill was the singing conductor. Misses G. Eagnall and G. Delaney rendered sacred solos which mads the musical part of the service still more attractive. At the annual social gathering on Tuesday evening there was another large attendance Rev. E. P. Blamires presiding. The annual report was read by the superintendent of the Sunday School, Mr G. Hill, and Bhowed that good and steady progress continues to be mad?. Much pleasure wai expressed £t the fine programme that was presented for the enjoyment of those who attended.
