BOMBAY.
PAPA RATA ROAD BOARD. The regular meeting cf the Papirata Road Board was held at the Board's office, Bombay, on Saturday evening, 7th February. Mimbers present—Messrs Thomas (chairman), G. Wootten, A. Best, W. H. Anderton, and the clerk (Mr F. J. Wootteb). The following tenders were ra ceived for work on the Paparata and Ararima road:—A. French and Turvey, £SO, arched; J. ArnoH, W. Wright and T. Donovan, £73 6s 3d. Forming on Barber's road:— G. Commjn, 5s 6d per chain, accepted; Wright and Arnold, 8s 9d Forming on I'innncla hill road —Wright and Arnold, 7s per chain, accepted, Accounts amounting to £l9 12s were passed for payment. The chairman, Mr Thomas, was appointed delegate to represent the Board at the conference of local bodies to be beld in Auckland.
