LAWN TENNIS.
The unsettled state of the weather prior to the holidays was very much against tennis, with the result that the Pukekoho Club's men's singles tournament has not advanced very rapidly. In recent games the results are:—Lamont, owe 20, beat Boekett, owe 5 50—38. Barker, scratch, beat Curd, scratch 50 4S. Hohnes, receive 10, beat Maxwell, receive 5 50—43. The Pukekohe Club visit Otahuhu on January 29tb, when a whole day 't£ / "*~ J *- J, iin be |jlayed.
