ANOTHEK PICKET JOKE. A local resident rushed into hi? house the other night ard in breathless hasta informed the family that there were five "pickets out at the gate." The effect was electric, garmsnts were hastily donned and terror-stricken females peered round the corners of the curtains. To the erquiries of "Where, where, where sre they?" the anxious ones were informed that it was alright, the pickets were nailed on to the front gate. We don't want any "Moore" of this!
