At Pukekoh?, on Tuesday, we held our usual monthly sale at our new yards. More than the advertised number of cattle came forward, and notwithstanding the strike we report a most successful sale, and a good clearance was made Three and ahalf to 4-year-old steers sold at from £8 2s to £D 6s; 2 to 3-year-old steers, £5 5% to £7 15s; yearling to two-year-old steers, £2 18s to £4 19s; empty cows, £3 153 to £5 6s; empty heifers, suitable for dairy purposes, £3 10s to £5; good strong calves, £2 to £2 14s, others 20s to 38s; bulls, £4 to £7 103. Ninetyfive head of beef was yarded, which sold at fully Westfield rater, steers sel'ing to £l2 2s 6d; cows and heifers, to £8 ss. BPCKLAND AND SONS.
On Saturday we held a clearance 'sala at [Mr W. H. Hall's, Karaka. There was a small attendance of buyers. Pigs: Porkers, £1 2s to £1 4s; ture and sundries b-ought usual valuee.
