on Moniay "An Evening with Dickens" was spent at the fortnightly meeting of the Mutual Improvement Society. The Rev. C. A. Vaughan dtlivered a very able lecta'ette on the life and wo:ksof Charles Dickens, and was assisted by the following, who gave readings from the different works: -Mis Vaughan, Missts Sjnderson and Wcodward, Rev.
