Accounts amounting to £4 2s 3d were passed for payment.

There would be no rental expenses for the show (Buckland and Sons having given the horse bazaar free of charge), so that with ordinary managemeLt and cara the Society was bound to be successful. The iociety was new on a splendid fcotirg, and be was sorry that the changes in his own business had been coincident with the period when the show affairs must have the closest attention. He would stili be able to tender enthusiastic assistance as a member of the committee, and would do all that he could at show-time when the rush of affairs wuuld Le over. Members of committee made some complimentary remarks, and the resignation was received with regret. On the motion .of Mr Eames, seconded by Mr Lusher, Mr F. E. Simpson was appointed to the vacant office and was welcomed by the chairman.

SHOW ARKANGEMENTS. A number of details were discussed concerning the forthcoming November show, and it was decided to write to certain judges asking them to act. LIGHTINGMr Eames reported that he was in touch with certain lighting firms and hoped that some arrangement, advantageous to the Society, could be made for lighting the bazaar at show time. The matter was left, in Mr Eamsa' hands meanwhile.
