OTAUA.
TRIPLETS. A rather unusual event occurred on Mr T. Bright'a farm in Otaua recently, when a pedigree Jersey cow gave birth to triplets, two heifers and a ball (»11 well). OTAUA DRAINAGE BOARD. At the monthly meeting of the Otaua Drainnge Board, held on Thursday, September 18th, the resignation of Mr L. Mellsop as clerk and returning officer to the Board was received and accepted. On the motion of Mr H. 0. Mellsop, seconded by Mr West, and carried unanimously, Mr W. J. King was appointed to the position. The Board agreed to have all information necessary re flood gate for Hull's drain ready for next meeting, so that it can te proceeded with at once.
PROPERTY SALE. I hear that Mr Des. Potter has Bold a portion of his farm on the Otaua-Waiuku road for £2B per acre.
