MESSRS A. BUCKLAND AND SONS. We held our usual monthly sales at Pokeno o i Monday, 15th, and Runciman Tuesday, 16th, and in each case the yards were completely filled. Buyers were rumerous, and with the exception of young cattle, which were ea-ier in pric?, all clashes sold readily. Forward three and ahalf to four year old steers brought from £8 10s to £9 14s, gocd three-year-olds £6 15s to £7 15s, t?;o to three year olds £5 5s to £6 'os, yearling to 18-months £3 12s to £4 10s, yearling to 18-mo:iths heifers £3 73 to £5 according to quality, empty cowa £3 10s to £5 15s, calves £1 15s lo £2 10s, dairy cow 3 £4 10a to £ll 15s. At Runriman, on Saturday, September 13th, we hc-M o special sale of dairy stock. There wa3 n moderate yarding, and a fair attendance of buvers. Best cows and heifers made from £8 tu £ll ss, others £5 to £7 10?. aged and poor £2 10s to £4 10s: small heifers, £4 to £5 ss; young bulla, £5 to £lO 10s; totam fencing posts, Is Id each. N.Z. On Saturday, at Papakura yards, we held a special horse sale, when not quite the advertised numbers came forward, Competition was keen throughout, a~.d almost everything changed hards at the hammer. Young heavy draught horses sold at from £25 to £45; aged ard worn draught horses, £l2 to £22 10s; medium draughts, £J3 to £27 10s; light harness horses, £8 to £2O; hack?, £6 10s to £l7; Shetland ponies, £5 to £8 15s; gig, £l2.
