SOCIAL EVENING. A social was held in the hall on the 6th irst. About 20 couples were present and a very enjoyable evening wus si ent in dancing, the music being supplied by Mr W. D.el THE DAIRY INDUSTRY. I saw by the "Times" of a week cr two ba:k the amount ot money paid out to Ot3ua suppliers by the Ntw Zealand Dairy Association was £17,000 odd. Aka Aka creamery can come a little better, £38,206 10s being paid out for the season. Our creamery is in lull swirg now, and the manager reckons on having a better season than last. At. present be is sending out 270 gallons of cream daily and hopes to reach 500 by the flush.
