PIGEON SHOOTING.
Matches on Saturday.
There were eleven competitors on Saturday for Mr Webster's trophy. The match was with ten birds. Daysli 13, and McCoruiack 11, tied for first place with seven birds each and in the shoot-off Daysli won, McCormack occupying second place. Other shootists were J. Reynolds 13yds, (3 ; Fauselt 10, AYilson 12, R. Fitness 12, Kennelly 10, F. Mouldey 10, Gardner 15,. five birds each ;L. Mouldey 13, 1 birds; McNally 10, 3 birds. F. Mouldey won the six-bird haudicap sweepstakes with six firsthand birds. J. Bowdeu was second with five bird*. Others were J. Reynolds o, J. Fausett, McNally and Gardner I birds each : L. Mouldey and McCormack 3 birds each; R Fitness and J. Kennelly 2 birds each; Davf-li 1 bird.
The five-bird liialch (all oil' 12 yards) was won by J. l'ausett with J. Bowdcn second. These had tied with four first-barrel birds and in the shoot-oft' Fausett won. Others were :—L. Mouldey 1, F. Mouldey, J. Gardner and Daysh •'> each, McNally and Fitness 2 eacli.
