Mr J. K Hamilton thought that at the Agricultural Societies' Conference it should be urged that a herd book for m■ Iki g Shorthorns fihculd be compiled. The President thought this was a subject for the breeders themselves, but as delegate fiom this Society the matter was left in Mr Wylie's hands.
