EUCHRE PARTY

A tout 50 players turned out on Monday evening to the Farmers' Union monthly euchre party, and another enjoyable competition resulted. The ladies' first prize, a pair of pictures, was secured by Mrs H. Crisp?, who won 15 out of 17 game 3 played. Messrs J. Black and F. Kavanagh tied for the men's first, ar.d in the play-off J. Black proved victcr with 14 games to his credit. Amusing "bcoby wirs" fell to Miss V. Wright and Mr K, Moore, and they received commemorative trophies. Messrs W. fc'ommerville and C. Crhpe had charge of the proceedings, and left nothing to be desired. The secretary announced that a handsome inlaid tea tray would be available for ladies' prize at next month's entertainmneit.
