WAIUKU.
On Wednesday, at St. Matthew's Church. Auckland, the marriage took place of Mr Alfred Martyn Barriball to Miss Ferry, late of Waiuku. The itev. W. E. Gillam officiated, ar.d a large number of the iclativts of tha bride and bridegroom were present. Mr Harold Keane acted as best man. Mr and Mrs Thomai McGowan have relumed from their honeymoon, ar.d intend buiidirg a new residence on their farm, Mr f'e Montalk, auotioieer, is removing to fresh premises across (he road and next to Mr Sedgwick. Al! the shops and houses in Waiuku are row occupied. The latest addition to our town is a iish and supper restaurant, started last Saturday. Mr Warren Brown's pr;misea have also been enlarged to meet increasing business requirements. The Pakuranga hounds arrived cn Wednesday tor another meet.
