RUGBY FOOTBALL.
(By " i'cu'h.'') After being refu-ed admittance to ths Manukau Rugby llrio', the Pukekohe footballers have decided to form a Union tf their uwp, and at a meeting It. Id on Tuesday night last, the question of cutting up the district into three divinon3 was gone into. It was decided tj allet players to City, Suburbs, ai.d The Hill. r i hi 3is a good move on the part vf Pukekohe footballers, for it will certainly create more interest in tie gbm°, both irom ihe players and epectators' poi tof view. It now means that inttead of having one senior team in Pukekohe there will be three to take the fi' Id. The opinion is that the district scheme will tend tu wejken football. This may be so far as club matches are concerne:), but it canrot affect the game individually; rather the reverse i'o: it will bring out player 3 who previously would r.ot play, or could not get a game in the Pukekohe fifteen. With the use of the Horse Bazsar to practise in (which Messrs Buckland and Sons have kindly phced at the disposal of players), some good football should be witn?;sed this seasoa. CIIY CLUB.
