A meeting of the City players was heldjast Thursday evening and there was a large attendance. Mr J. Walsh occupied the chair. Officers for the ensuing year were elected. A lot of general business was gene through, and useful discuanin tcok place. The subscription to the Club was fixed at sj. It was decided that Maroon be the Club's colours. Messrs Marshall and Jone3 were elected delegates to the Pukekohe Rugby Union. SUBURBS CLUB. A very enthusiastic meeting oi the Suburbs Club was held in Mr Jamieson'a shop on Friday evening last. There was a good attendance. Officers elected were Patron, Mr C. K. Lawrie; president, Mr F. Brown; vice-presidents, Rev. Father Molloy, Messrs W. Osborce, J. Beatty, R. Stevens, J. lOnneily, B. Andrew, W. Hawke, H. Brunton, W. Blake and E. Crum; management committee, Messrs R. Stevens, R. Lonergan, J. Waller), W. Crum, T. R. Stevens and 0. Stayte; selection committee, 0. Stayte, R. Lonergan and J. Wallen; secretary and treasurer, T. Thompson; captain, 0. Stayte; vice-captain, li. Lonergan. It was decided that th2 Club colours be "all biack " A trophy will be presented by Mr S. Jacks:n to the most consistent back 1,1 the Suburbs team, and a medal presented by Mr 0. Stayte for the most consistent forward.
