SALE AT POKENO. x Alfred linckland and Sons report:— ' \ We held our usual monthly sales in the Pokeno yards on Monday, 17th, and at Rurciman on Tuesday, February 18th, and for the time of the year had large entries. A good demand exists for all classes of stock. Dairy cows brought from £5 5s to £ll. according to quality; fat cows, £4 IBs to £8; empty young cows, £2 18s to £d la; 18month dairy heifers, «4 to £5 ss; two-and-a-half to yetf - old steers £5 5s to £6 Bt&^catlfog v to eißhteen-munth steer IBs to J6&. 18s; good calvee, £1 rfo to 61, others £1 Is to £1 13s; £6 to £9 ss, others £3 to £5 10s.
