There is little or no digging going 011 at present owing to absence of diggers and to the fact that many farmers arc busy with hay and general harvesting. Arts speak louder than words. The increasing siij.poit given to the local paper by residents of this district is perhaps the best evidence of appreciation wecan offer the proprietors. The " Times " has more than justified its existence, and it does not require much optimism to believe that our pioneer paper will soon appear three times weekly and finally end with being a real live daily. We can assure you, Mr Editor, that you have the best wishes of this district to that end.
