BOMBAY.
BAZAAR. Ihe bazaar held in the Public Hall on November 27th, under the cara of the Ladies' Guild of the Church of England proved a great success. The weather was showery, but cleared towards evening, when a large number assembled. Nail driving, hat trimming, cake guessing ai d skittle throwing passed the time. Gre t credit is due to the secretary and committee—Mrs Shanahan, Misses Cole-Baker and Masefield —for the able manner in which the bazaar was conducted. A beautiful display of flowers was made by Mrs W. Shaipe, Kama Kama; Miss Cole-Baker, Mrs P. Evans, Mis O'Neil, Mrs Cornthwaite and Miss Harris, of Bombay, ihe priza for best decorated table was awarded to Mrs L, Cornthwaite. The following were tha stallholders Plain work. Meedames Shanahan, (Jornihwaite, Penhryn-Evan*-; fancy work, Mfsdames McCowen and Stevens, Misses Smith and P. Evans; refreshments, Misses Masetield, Harris and Thomas; sweets and buttonholes, Misses N. and A. McCowrn and Flay. SI ONE CRUSHER. Mr Feiguson's stone crusher is in the district, and is breaking about GOO yards of metal, which will be a great boon, as some of the roads are greatly in need of repair.
