A special meeting of residents was held in the Patumahoe Hall on Thursday, 14th inst., to discuss and arrange a public reception to the Prime Minister (Hon. W. F. Massey) on the occasion of his visit to this district on November 21st. Jlr J. Henry was elected chairman and said as hitherto Mauku had always accotded Prime Ministers a hearty reception, this was an eeeasion when stmething extra ehoold be done, it being the first time in our history.that wo were honoured by having the number for onr electorate as Pi imp Minis'er.
