Works Committee Report. Motion's Quarry Recommended
At Wednesday's meeting of the Pukekohe Unrough Council the Mayor read a report, signed by several Councillors, saying they had vis t.d Mt Hindman's quarry. There was no c!oubt a hrge quantity ot metal at thu quarry. "If there were rot . u;n a I.j. of st.ipping required we would be prepared to reci mmerd getting experts to thoroughly test tfn' quantity of good sto e available, hut we consider, taking all the circumstances into consideration, it would be unwise to spend any mosey on :his quarry at the pr.tcnt time.
