LAWN TENNIS.
Pukekohe Club Meeting. The arnuf 1 geneial meeting of the Pukikohe Lawn Tennis Ciub was held on Tuesday night, Mr C. Cooper being in the chair. There was only a small attendance of members. The balance-sheet, showing a credit balance ot assets over liabilities of £l2 8s 9d, was rtad and sdjpted. " Tha following officers were elected: -President, Mr A. B. Barter; vicepre i lents, Messrs W. Rouhton, W. G Abbott, F. Jagusch, Dr Waka; committee. Messrs Cargill, Carroll, U. Lodge, Mawxell, W. Johns; ground superintendent, Mr C. Lodge; secretary, Mr H. Corbett; treasurer, Mr C. Cooper; auditors, Messrs J. F. Detni and H. Curd; ladies' committee, Mesdames Bayly, Vake, Bockett, and Miss Bilkey, with power to add. The subscription was fixed at £1 15a for gentlemen and £1 for ladies, with 5s rebate if paid befcre December 31st. It was decided to open the season on November 2nd.
