BOMBAY.

A farewell social evening was held on Wednesday, Ma* 22nd., at Mr It. Donovan's house, when a large number of friends assembled to bid farewell to Mr and Mrs Alt Evans, who are leaving this district for Papakura.. During the evening Mr and Mrs Evans wee presented with a handsome dinner service as a slight token of the esfcem in which they were held in the ustrict. Progressive euchre and dan'Qg were kept up to a late hour and enjoyable evening was spent.
