Bombay.

The monthly meeting of the Paparata Road Board was held on the 7th inst. Present—Messrs J. K. Lowry (Chairman), S. Allison, C. Shaw, S. W. Landon and R. Kemp. Mr W. Cave (Clerk) was also in attendance. Mr Munro Wilson, C.E., was present and received instructions for plans of a bridge near Bombay. Creamery. The new structure is to be built with stone abutments (cemented) and wooden top. Messrs Clarke and Kemp's offer for works on the Bombay and Barber's Road was accepted. It was decided to metal part of the Bombay and Paparata Roads as soon as possible. Unpaid rates.—The Clerk was instructed to add ten per cent, on all unpaid rates as from the end of February. It was decided to have the water tables on the Paparata Roads cleared at once and Mr E. Waugh was asked to do the work.
