The Oddfellows' Hall, which has just been erected in Pukekohe to fulfil a long felt want, is now ready for occupation, and arrangements have been made for an official opening and dedication service, to be held on Wednesday, March 25th. A carefully prepaied programme has been drafted by the officers of the lodge. To suit the convenience of the public the ceremonies have all been fixed to take place in the evening, commencing with a torchlight procession a 7.30 o'clock from the station to the new hall. In addition to the Oddfellows from the various lodges, the Pukekohe Town Band and Volunteer Fire Brigade will take part in the procession. At 8 p.m. Mr R C. Gray, Grand Master for New Zealand, assisted by the officers of the Grand and District Lodges, will dedicate Bnd officially open the hall. The musical portion of the ceremony has been entrusted to a strong choir of over forty voices, and will be interspersed with sacred solos. The Function is one that should be well worth seeing, as this is only the second occasion that it has been fully carried out in the Auckland Province, After this ceremony is over the remainder of the evening will be devoted to harmony and dancing. As there will be over 100 visiting brethren from the Auckland and country lodges, only a limited number of tickets will be available for the public. Those desirous cf attending should make an early application for tickets.
