PUTARURU COMPETI! lONS. Mona Cup.—The Mona Cup, presented by the president of the Putaruru club (Mr. C. D. Brown) for bogey match play, was played for during the week-end. C. Schraft won the trophy, 9 down. Open Handicap.—F. C. Barnett won the open handicap with a score of 100—25, 75. July Medal.—The July medal was won by J. Murphy, 111—28, 83. ROCKY DOWNS CLUB. Unbeaten Champion. The four ball best ball bogey match on Saturday was v.-on by J. Corbett and R. Mentiplay, 0 up. In the final of the senior championship, played over 36 holes, F. Hutchison beat J. Corbett 7 and 6 and won the club championship for the 11th successive year. Hutchison has never been defeated in the championship tournament since the formation of the club. Playing in the junior championship, L. Ryan beat Earl Johnston 1 up at the 19th. OKOROIRE CLUB. Miss E. Goodwin and A. Gray won the medal round played at Okoroire on Saturday. (Continued on Page 8)
