Mrs. Hancock’s little son, Gordon, was admitted to the Waikato Hospital on Wednesday, seriously indisposed. A good take of grass has been secured on the local bowling club’s newly-laid greensand it is confidently expected that the sward will be ready for fairly early play in the coming season. The Hinuera Dairy Co., Ltd. (Mr. Hollis, manager) has again been successful in gaining a prize for a box of export butter at the Palmerston North National Dairy Show. The staff of the butter factory are busily engaged shifting machinery and painting up the inside of the factory in readiness for the coming season. Miss B. Kiver, of Christchurch, niece of Mr. J. Moir, Hinuera, flew as a passenger with * Miss Aroha Clifford, on her recent flight by aeroplane from Christchurch to Dunedin.
