N.Z. Ewes.—64lb and under 43d. N.Z. Lambs. Canterbury quality, 361 b and under 83d, 371 b to 421 b Sd, 431 b to 501 b 73d ; seconds 7d. Australian Lambs (new season’s). —Victorian, first quality, 361 b and under Sd, 371 b to 421 b 73d. Argentine Lambs (new season’s). — First quality, 361 b and under 73d, 371 b to 421 b 71<L Argentine Chilled Beef.—Ox fores 53d, ox hinds 73d. Australian Frozen Beef.—Ox crops over 1001 b sd, ox hinds over 1601 b 63d. N.Z. Frozen Pork. Porkers, 601 b to 801 b 103 d, 811 b to 991 b 10Td, 1001 b to 1201 b 93d ; baconers, 1211 b to 1801 b 83d. Lamb.—Market is steady ; consumption good for time of year ; lieavy supplies new season’s Australian and South American lambs now arriving. Mutton. Market is steady, with better prices for heavyweights ; better inquiry for ewes at better prices. N.Z. Porker Figs. Market very firm owing to shortage of supplies of Home-killed.
