SHIPMENTS OF MEAT.
The New Zealand Meat Producers Board has been advised that the shipments of meat to the United Kingdom during the month of November were as follow: Australia. Mutt0n.—54,345 carcases. Lamb.—3lß,Bl2 carcases. 8eef.—21,901 quarters. South America. Mutton.—s6,l3l carcases. Lamb.—488,526 carcases. Frozen 8eef.—10,366 quarters. Chilled 8eef.—438,072 quarters. New Zealand. Mutton.—33.lol carcases. Lamb.—32,740 carcases. Beef.—l 42 quarters. From South America. The New Zealand Meat Producers Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended December 5 from Argentine and Uruguay (the figures do not include exports from Patagonia, Chile or Brazil): — Chilled 8eef.—190,563 quarters. Frozen 8eef.—4949 quarters. Frozen Mutton.—lß,l32 carcases. Frozen Lamb.—160,736 carcases. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period was as follows: Frozen 8eef.;—33,735 quarters. Frozen Mutton.—7393 carcases. Frozen Lamb.—222s carcases.
