REGIONAL PLANNING. Invitation Received. The Director of Town Planning extended an invitation to members of the Matamata County Council on Friday to attend a meeting in Hamilton, at which he would explain a regional planning scheme for the Waikato. The chairman’ stated he had heard Mr. Mawson on town planning, and it did not affect the counties much. The clerk stated the new Act dealt with extra urban.and county planning. The chairtnan replied the counties had a man on the town planning board, and it chiefly affecfed places like Lower Hutt and Frankton. The clerk stated that was the ex,l- -tra-urban part.
