In a report submitted to the Thames Valley Electric Power Board at the November meeting it was stated that good progress was being made with the installation of meters, approximately 1000 having been installed to date. In the Hauraki Plains district the whole of the western side of the Piako river had been completed, while on the eastern side metering had been completed between the Piako and Waihou rivers from Kopuarahi southwards to Orchard East road. Two new metering gangs had been started in the Te Aroha district durine the month and would work toward Paeroa.
