Selwyn.

Mr. H. Nixon has returned from his holidays at Norfolk Island, and will soon take over his duties again from Mr. Connell, the town manager, who acted during his absence. Mr. H. Connell spent a few days at “ The Big House,” returning by car with Mr. Connell on Saturday. The tennis court at Selwyn was opened during the week end, a good number of visitors from various other clubs being present. The road out to Lichfield and Selwyn is now in much better condition, owing to the operations of the graders.
