CLOSE OF SEASON. The Putaruru Golf Club brought a very successful season to a close during the week-end, when the trophies won were presented by the president, Mr. F. C. Barnett. The following trophies were presented:—

Junior Championship.—Haslett beat W. Morse in the semi-final, 3 and 2. During the day a mixed foursomes was played, Mrs. Legatt and C. Schrafft returning the best cards.
