PUTARURU CLUB. Championship Final. The championship games under the auspices of the Putaruru Golf Club were brought to a close during the week-end, when C. D. Brown bear, A. George 4 up and 3 to play. Bogey Competition. The bogey competition for the Mena Cup was won by A. George, 5 down. Mixed Foursomes. The mixed foursomes for Mr. A. C. Thompson’s prize -was won by Miss Coupe and Mr. Murphy; 110 —15—95. Ladies’ Golf. On Thursday a medal competition was won by Mrs. Halse. A Ladies’ Golf Union competition was held on the same day and resulted in a win for Mrs. F. C. Barnett.
