CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES. \ During the week end the Putaruru . Golf Club championship games were advanced to the semi-final stage in both senior and junior sections, with the following results:— Senior.—George beat Dukeson, 1 up at the 19th; Brown beat Schraft, 3 and 2. Junior.—Morse beat Bailey, 2 up. Monthly Medal. The monthly medal was won by F. C. Barnett, 100—24—76.
