TIRAU CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Tirau club a satisfactory balance-sheet was presented. The following officers were elected : Patron, Mr. J. W. Anderson ; president, Mr. S. J. Bear ; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Keane and N. Horscroft ; secretary, Mr.. E. E. Shaw ; treasurer, Mr. F. Rose ; auditor, Mr. T. Little ; committee, Messrs. W. Craig, W. Main, A. Mouldey, W. H. Allen, J. Watson, F. Rose, J. Swney ; green superintendent, Mr. \V. Main ; assistant green superintendent, Mr. F. Rose ; selectors, Messrs. W. Main and T. Little. It is expected that the green will be open for play earlier this season, probably at the end of November.
