Wedding Bells.

BECK—WRIGHT. The wedding was solemnised at All Saints’ Church on Wednesday between Florence, daughter of Mr. H. S. Wright, “ Burnlea,” Taihoa, and Mr. J. A. F. Beck, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Beck, Okauia. The bride, who entered the church on her father’s arm, wore a charming gown of ivopr spun crepe de chine and silver insertion. The embroidered veil was arranged with pearls and orange blossom, and the bouquet consisted of hyacinths, azaleas, cyclamen and maidenhair. The bride was attended by her two sisters, Miss Irene being in blush pink crepe de chine, with headdress of tulle to match, and primrose and silver garland of flowers. Miss Doris’ frock was of delphinium blue crepe de chjne, blue tulle with pink flowers over her hair. Each bridesmaid’s bouquet was of narcissi and maidenhair.

Messrs. J. Beck and R. Beck, brothers of the bridegroom, were best man and groomsman respectively. The bride’s mother wore a dress of navy repp with ecru lace, navy hat and gold ornament. The mother of the bridegroom was in a fawn costume, navy and gold hat. After the ceremony, which was i performed by Rev. C. W. Turner, about 70 guests were entertained at “ Burnlea,” Mr. Wright specially welcoming old friends from Canterbury and Taranaki. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. F. Beck left by motor later in the afternoon. The bride’s going-away costume, was an ensemble suit of royal blue repp and , soft grey material combined, and her f hat was a combination of Bankok I straw and felt in colours matching the dress and coat.

GLYNN—LYONS. The wedding of Kathleen Mar- 1 garet, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. Glynn, of Kuranui, Morrinsville. and Mr. Patrick Lyons, of Hawke's Bay, was solemnised at St. Joseph’s Church, Morrinsville, on Saturday, Rev. Father Shore being the officiating priest. The bride was given away by her father and looked very pretty in a suit of lace and fabric of mimosa tone and a black bankok hat. She carried a bouquet of daffodils and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid was Miss D. M. Glynn, who wore a pretty frock of green crepe f de chine, with a balibuntel hat. Mr. Owen Glynn was best man. The wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents. The couple left by the midday express on the honeymoon. The bride travelled in a georgette frock of apricot and brown tones, with musquash coat and apricot hat. Mr. and Mrs. Lyons will reside in Auckland.
