She ■ expects to be away for five weeks. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Marsden Scantel--1 bury, of Christchurch, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. J. R- OLochhead. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Chivers and I family, of Napier, who have been on | a tour of the North Island, spent a few days at Arapuni last week.
Morrinsville. Miss Marion Allwood has returned from a holiday at Te Kuiti. Mrs. Knox, oi Devonport, Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. S. C. Parlour, Studholme street. Miss M. Grimwade, of the staff of the Morrinsville District Hig.i School, has returned from three*® weeks’ sick leave. Mrs. A. M. Mallett and Miss Dolly Mallett, who have been in Auckland for some months, have returned to Morrinsville. , } Miss Willets, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. A. M. Allen, Annahdale, Piako. Miss Joyce Parlour has left for Opotiki, where she has received an appointment on the staff cf the Opotiki District Hospital. Mrs. S. S. Allen, wife of the Administrator of Samoa, and Mesdames Foster, Valentine and Fairclough, of Auckland, are staying at La Signy Farm, Pi3ko.
