MONTHLY MEETING. The usual monthly meeting of the W.D.F.U. was held in tlie I'utaruiu Town Hall on Saturday, when a fair percentage of members was present. . ifie business was mainly of a general character. Two new members were enrolled, bringing the member- , ship close to the three score mark, which for an organisation of only a little over a year s standing is suiely very creditable. ... At next month’s fneeting it is proposed to have a general discussion regarding new ideas for preparing appetising lunches for school children and workers, and it is hoped this will prove of interest to members.
