Putaruru. Mrs. J. S. Reid has returned from a holiday in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Snell spent a holiday in Auckland last week. Mr. and Mrs. H. Boryer, of Mokai, are staying at the Putaruru Hotel. Miss I. King spent her college vacation with her parents last week. Miss Alcorn returned last week from a holiday visit to Auckland. Mrs. Halket, of Rotorua, is on a visit to Putaruru. Miss M. Trower. of Auckland, is on a visit to Mrs. H. B. Coupe. Miss Trower was a resident of Putaruru i at one time. Mrs. W. Proctor has gone to Auckland to bid farewell to her mother, Mrs. Noonan, who is leaving for- a visit to Australia. Matamata. Mrs. Raymond-. Tones and Mi ß s Lockyer, of Auckland, have been the guf sts of Mr. and Mrs. J. Carruthers, Matamata.
