Wedding Bells.

RAYNELL —DEMLER. A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of the bride's parents in Motumaoho on July V, when Miss Thyrza Eileen Dernier, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Demler, was married to Mr. William Robert Raynell, fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Raynell, of Tauhei. The Rev. F. W. Wilkes, of Morrinsville, officiated. The bride, wno was given away by her father, looked [ charming in a blush pink lace dress j with a. crepe de chine overdress, an embroidered veil caught in a beaded i coronet of orange blossoms. The | I bridal bouquet consisted of white | narcissus, pink stocks and asparagus l fern. The bridesmaid, sister of the bride, Miss Dorothy Demler, wore a dress I of apple green crepe de chine, with I hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of j daphne and Christmas ro?-s. Mi. Alan Ferguson actet as best man. At the reception given afterwards at the Motumaoho Hall, the bride’s mother received the guests in a brown repp costume, with hat to tone. The hall looked very pretty, being festooned with streamers of pink and green, and a huge wedding bell, the work of the bride’s young friends. The latter part of the evening was devoted to dancing. The bride left in a travelling cos- . tume of beige repp, with hat to tafhe. The future residence of Mr. and Mrs. Raynell will be Tauhei.
