Personal. Mr. and Mrs. W. Kuhtz are at present away for a month’s holiday. Mrs. Jess. Batley is holidaymaking in Auckland. Mrs. Ghakune, is a to Tirau and is the guest of her sister. Mrs. A. Bonney. Mr. E. E. Hirst has received promotion, being appointed postmaster at Bulls. Mr. Hirst will leave next Tuesday. Mr. Robinson, of Marton, has been appointed as Mr. Hirst’s successor.
