Mix together in a saucepan half. a pint of milk, one ounce of loaf sugir, quarter-ounce of isinglass and the thinly pared rind of a lemon. Stir e" gentle heat until’ the sugar and isinglass arc -melted, but ‘do hot allow' the mixture to become more than warm. Strain through muslin into a moist mould, and stir occasionally until the ."icily sets. Leave in a very cold p.acc until required, when turn out and serve with wafer biscuits.
