Personal. Messrs. T. Bottomley and McCorkindale are at present away on a motor tour to Taranaki. Mrs. G. White is on a visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Stewart, it Tirau. Not only Tirau friends hut all old residents of the Matamata county will regret to hear of the illness of Mrs. Rose, senr., at her residence in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. F. Rose, who have been on a visit, returned to Tirau on Tuesday, the patient having made improvement. Tennis Club. One of the most popular functions of the dancing season is due for Tuesday next in the Tirau Hall, when the Tennis Club will hold its annual dance and presentation of prizes. It is expected that there will be a large number of visitors from adjacent clubs.
