School Concert. The Tapapa school concert, held on Friday, was in every way a success. The building was crowded to the doors, Mr. Dickenson, the chairman of the school committee, presiding. A lengthy programme was subwmitted, and long though it was the interest of the audience never flagged, a tribute to the youthful per■formers. The proceeds were in aid of the school funds. Mr. Dickenson, in thanking those present for their patronage, paid a tribute to the work of the teachers, Mr. Hodges and Miss Whitmarch, in training the children, a well-deserved tribute that i,he audience endorsed by acelamaThe following was the programme: National Anthem; song of ■welcome, infants; pianoforte solo, Mrs. Bishop; dri'l, girls; song, “Ten Tittle School Boys,” infant boys; school song, “ I'd Lake to go to Fairyland,”; song, “ Six Little Kittens,” primers; recitation, “ The Fountain,” Iris Ruck; song, Miss Watson (encored); recitation, “ Jack of the Inkpot,” Grace Barker; Maori song, Maori boys;' recitation, ilr.
