“In my opinion standardisation will turn out a better cheese than has been turned out in the past,” said Mr. S. Ferguson, a member of the Dairy Control Board, at the annual meeting of the Morrinsville branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union on Saturday evening. Mr. A., Topham asked whether any member could throw any light on the strictures that had been passed on the quality of New Zealand cheese at the dairy factory managers’ conference. Mr. leeson (chairman of the Morrinsville Dairy Company): I accept the remarks of Sir Thomas Clements as regards cheese with a grain of salt. - ■ '
