FLAG BRIDGE EVENING.
On Tuesday, sth inst., Mesdames Halse and Francis gave a flag bridge party in aid of the croquet queen, when some forty guests were present. The guests at the winning table were Mrs. Wright (Auckland), Mrs. Me Cardie (Cambridge) and Mr. A. Rutherford and the consolation prizes were awarded to Miss Savage, of Cambridge, Messrs. Bodman and Johnstone. The prizes were donated by Mesdames Spear, Robinson, Campbell, Palmer and Mr. R. T. Smith. At the conclusion of the evening Mr. F. C. Barnett very kindly donated a guinea towards the funds.
