FIRE AT TIRAU.
FARMHOUSE DESTROYED. The farm residence of Mrs. B. Syme, of Tirau, with all the furniture, was totally destroyed by fire on Saturday night. The family was away at the time. Insurances were carried in the State Fire Office but the amounts are not available at present.
