PARLIAMENTARY VISIT.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR STAY. Several members of Parliament arrived in Putaruru to-day for a tour of the district at the invitation of the Putaruru Chamber of Commerce. Among the party are Messrs. C. H. Clinkard (Rotorua), H. G. R. Mason (Suburbs), J. A. Young (Hamilton 1, A. Harris (Waitemata), A. W. Hall (Hauraki), Lee Martin (Raglan 1, W. E. Parry (Central) and F. Lye (Cambridge). The party will be shown round the Lichfield, Overdale and Taumangi districts this afternoon and entertained at Simpson’s tearooms this evening. To-morrow a special train will convey the party to Tokoroa and Ongaroto, while on Saturday the party will be taken to Wiltsdown, Waotu and Arapuni.
